FPL Website Sponsorship
To help raise funds required to continue the development, promotion and legal protection of the free and open FIX Protocol messaging standard, FIX Protocol Limited (FPL) offers a set of advertising and sponsorship opportunities to the FIX community.
One such opportunity is the "FPL Website Sponsorship Program", which is exclusively available to FPL member firms and provides the opportunity for participating firms to bid for a sponsorship spot on the FPL website.
On each page of the FPL website there is a designated area for site sponsors. Within this space, permanent logos appear to all visitors of the site, prominently placed in a highly visable location in the left hand menu under the "About the Organisation" section.
To ensure that the logos displayed within this space receive maximum exposure, the number of firms able to advertise at any one time is limited to three. Additionally, to help drive traffic back to the sponsoring firm's website these logos are hyperlinked to the firm's chosen location.
As interest in this opportunity is often greater than the number of sponsorship spots available, all FPL member firms are given the chance to bid for one of the three spaces available for each of the four quarters for the following year on an annual basis. In this manner, firms are able to incorporate FPL website sponsorship into their overall marketing plans for the coming year and maximize the opportunity to drive additional traffic to their website at key points throughout the year.
To ensure that a fair price is bid for each of the three spots available each quarter, there is no minimum or maximum price set. Members are encouraged to submit a bid at the price level that they feel the opportunity should be valued and all bid prices will remain confidential.
The winners of the 2010 site sponsorship opportunities will be able to display their logos for the following time periods:
Quarter 1: Monday, January 4th - Friday, April 2nd 2010
Quarter 2: Monday, April 5th - Friday, July 2nd 2010
Quarter 3: Monday, July 5th - Friday, October 1st 2010
Quarter 4: Monday, October 4th - Friday, December 31st 2010
To enable placement of the logos on the FPL website the winning bidders will need to provide the following:
- Company logo (Pixel size: 139 wide and 30 high - This is a strict max size requirement) - Please note that the logo must be static and not include animation.
- The URL that the winning firm would like the logo to link to.
