As a result of NASDAQ becoming an exchange (according to US securities law) as of August 1, 2006, firms will need to differentiate between transactions occurring on the NASDAQ Exchange and transactions occurring off-exchange/over-the-counter (OTC). The question is: Which values should be used for Exchange fields in FIX messages?
