How PartyID, PartySource and PartyRole work in D message?

1 Apr 2010 11:38AM ET Hi, in D message of FIX 5.0 sp2, there is a component call Parties Component, which is a grouping of PartyID, PartySource and PartyRole , this is make sense for XML message.
But if we don't want to use XML, but the old style key-value pair, with '\001' as delimiter, can I still have multiple Parties Component??
How PartyID, PartySource and PartyRole work in D message?
