I took a look at the CME documentation for FIX/FAST 2.0 and I agree with Jim's assessment that a compliant FAST 1.1 decoder should work without any modifications to decode the body of the message.
For QuickFAST I had to make some minor changes in the multicast receiver in order to handle the preamble.
At this point these comments are based solely on the documentation. So far there has been no testing of QuickFAST against CME data.
