About bond spot product

Can we use the fields in UnderlyingInstrument to describe some feature of bond spot? Like UnderlyingPx for clean price, UnderlyingDirtyPrice for dirty price. What's the difference and relationship between UnderlyingInstrument and Instrument when we want to describer Bond Spot product? Thanks
