Yes. It's possible to send a post trade allocation as it is not mandatory that all orders are fully filled. You do have cases of partial fills quite often.
As a norm, all the allocation details are sorted out by the Trade Processing/BackOffice team ONLY after the trade ticket has been generated/posted by the trader(implies that the trader generates the trade ticket only on knowing that the order is going to be fully executed or partially executed).
