The Fix protocol specification modified to contain the CIV Working Group's final phase one recommendations has been posted at the FIX/CIV web page (see http://www.fixprotocol.org/cgi-bin/Workgroup.cgi?id=951993568&menu=951993568#archive)

This is a Microsoft Word document, with the changes shown in green (using MSWord's "tracked changes" facility.)

Phase one has the objective to extend the FIX Protocol to accommodate Collective Investment (Mutual Fund) transactions for Trade Initiation and Confirmation, including Settlement Instructions and Registration Instructions. This recommendation will be submitted to FIX Protocol Ltd. in late February 2001.
