re: FIX 4.4 - additions and steps to implement

There are several documents describing 4.4 changes on the website. Under Discussion->Announcements the notes dated 4/30/2003 and 6/18/2003 give overviews of the release. And on the Specifications page the first two documents in the 6/18/2003 group give further details. The additions to the post-trade space were significant.
There are two concurrent initiatives producing implementation guides - for different audiences: A Global Fixed Income Implementation Guide by the GFIC Education Subcommittee <http://www.fixprotocol.org/cgi-bin/Workgroup.cgi?submode=org&id=1044118458>; and a Rules of Engagement for Fixed Income by the Certification Committee <http://www.fixprotocol.org/cgi-bin/Workgroup.cgi?id=927563645&menu=927563645>;.
