Locate on short sell orders

26 Apr 2005 8:09AM ETIf the contra party to which the trade list is being sent is also the firm that should locate any shares to be sold short, how are (un)successful full or partial locates communicated via FIX? In other words, if I send an order for 5000 XYZ SS and the broker can only locate 2500, or none, is there a standard FIX way to communicate this information back to me?
