Grace Lin / Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C. 9 Oct 2002 12:15AM ET i wouldn't say sending DFD violates the business norm. DFD is useful to let the buyside know that there will be no further changes to the Executions for the Order. e.g potential changes for executed prices or quantities.
