If you look at the source code of the discussion-forum Web pages, you'll see that the e-mail addresses don't actually appear anywhere in the HTML; a Javascript engine has to run the page's scripts to render the address in the browser window (this is done by a filter in the root template to all e-mail addresses in the site). More importantly, your e-mail address is not shown at all unless you have checked the "Show e-mail?" checkbox in your user profile. I hope this addresses your concerns - although we're all getting a lot of spam these days, we've taken our best steps not to make it worse. Thanks -
