FIX 4.2 Connection from an IBM Websphere TX to Bloomberg EMSX

we are a bank trading equities and bonds for our customers.
To use the functionality of Bloombergs EMSX we have to set up a FIX connection via our Bloomberg routers. The FIX package of our websphere is able to create FIX conform messages but we do not know exactly how to set up a realtime connection to BB. At the moment we just get flat files. BB says: Your systems are black boxes, we can just decide if your FIX messages are correct or not.
