2 Jun 2010 9:43AM ET EDX London has a MIC value of XEDX which is the recommended approach by FIX. Other codes should only be used in the absence of a MIC value because only the MIC is an ISO standard (10383).
The FIX data type "Exchange" is defined as "string field representing a market or exchange using ISO 10383 Market Identifier Code (MIC) values (see Appendix 6-C)."
