The distributive contains open source code benchmarking utilities such that you may fine tune your application and run independent performance tests in your own environment.
The FIX Engine is easily customized to cater for non-standard FIX counterparties that employ user-defined fields and messages. It is also possible to make a field, which is mandatory according to the FIX Protocol Specification, optional, and visa-versa without the need to refer back to the provider for costly modifications to the software.
