21 Jul 2007 6:00PM ET I am writing a C++ engine using FIX and connecting to the Currenex API for my data, was wondering if anyone here had a template that I could start from with examples of.
Connecting to the Data Feed
Placing the orders
managing the orders, error handeling ect...
GUI similar to currenex
Stoplosses, takeprofits, Exp dates ect..
All the basic functionallity
Its pretty simple stuff, I would rather concentrate on programming the strategies than re-inventing the wheel.
Also want to comply with any "best Practices" that you have come up with.
