A lot of stuff is happening, but it's all behind the scenes via email and conference calls within the subcommittee.
Any FPL member firm is welcome to participate directly in the subcommittee.
Also, as with the FIX spec, there will be a public comment period once we have app note drafts ready for public review.
The primary goals are producing documents on using SSLv3 and/or TLS for engine-to-engine security. This has never previously been mentioned in FIX specs, however some vendors are implementing it.
