How long does a cross-border Day Order last

28 Jan 2000 12:58PM ETDoes a Cross-Border DAY order last for 24 hours, until the Exchange Closes, or until midnight in the country of the Exchange.
If I route a DAY order for a Japanese stock during the morning in London (after that day's close of the Japanese Market) then when does that order expire. Is it at the end of that calendar day in London. Is it at the end of the next days Exchange trading session in Japan, or is it the end of the next day in Japan. This is bearing in mind that the order could be worked and filled during the London day after the Japanese market has closed
