Hi Sunil,
  Yeah, i checked that discussion..it cleartly says "TransactTime should reflect the time the business message was initiated" so having this transact time for trades on trade date is not questionable. But it does not say anything about how AS-ofs or Late giveins should stamp the transact time.

  The question is if you are booking AS-Of trade in you book and if thats a late give in , you really dont know at what time transaction was actully done for this trade.

  All that you know is that its a trade for some XYZ trades, and you got it today.
  Is there some kind of "contact-us" link for this FIX protocol where i can raise a question and get an answer- as a thumbrule for this?
