The FPL Americas Regional Committee is proud to announce that the annual FPL Americas Trading Conference will be held in New York City on Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Building upon the tremendous success of past events held across the Americas region, including initiatives held in Toronto, Boston, New York, Chicago, Mexico City and Sao Paulo, this event will deliver an insightful agenda featuring a line-up of high quality speakers, extensive networking opportunities, a packed exhibit hall and an excellent post-event cocktail reception. This 'must attend' full-day event has been created to provide market participants from the American trading community with the opportunity to:

  • Explore the key issues that will impact your firm's ability to trade in 2011 and beyond through three agenda streams (business, strategic and technical)

  • Benefit from an agenda 100% volunteer-created by senior representatives from the Americas trading community to fully address the needs of the Americas trading community

  • Hear the thoughts and impartial perspectives of leading experts on the issues that matter to your firm

  • Attend an event that has been created with substantial industry involvement and feedback to guarantee value for buy-side, sell-side, exchange/ECN and vendor delegates

2010 FPL Americas Trading Conference Statistics:

  • 454 market participants attended the 2010 FPL Americas Trading Conference, a 56% increase on delegates attending in 2009.

  • 63% of delegates in 2010 worked in roles that were either business or strategically focused

  • Senior key decision makers from the buy-side, sell-side, vendor and exchanges/ECN community were in attendance

  • 92% of delegates responding to the post-event survey rated the carefully selected 70+ event speakers as either good or excellent

  • 88% of delegates responding to the post-event survey rated the conference sessions overall as either good or excellent
