Desciption
Nyfix is currently seeking a senior development support specialist. Qualified candidates must have 5-7 years professional experience working in a combination of support, consulting and development role within a finance organization, preferably for a software or product vendor. Candidate must have working knowledge of Java and commonly adopted financial protocols (i.e., FIX). Candidates should have expertise in the securities industry working with electronic trading solutions. Candidates must have strong organizational, communication, and customer relationship skills.
Candidates should have experience in the area of customer integration, project management, overseeing customer expectation, and working cross-functionally within a software company.
Primary responsibilities
o Providing Client Development Support
o Troubleshooting and diagnosing API and Programming issues with NYFIX’ software products
o Answering product-related questions
o Working closely with other departments at NYFIX to ensure rapid issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
