As the ideal candidate you will posses:

• The ability to work as part of a global support team, liaising with staff in US, Europe, Asia and Australia;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

• The ability to work under pressure;

• Strong knowledge of FIX protocol v4.0 and above

• Strong awareness of the various FIX distribution networks

• Experience of Unix, and some PERL or shell scripting experience

Desirable, but not essential skills include:

• Some VB/VBA, MS Office, VB.Net and ASP.NET is a plus

• Exposure to Fidessa

• Exposure to OMS software and technology

• Equity front office business knowledge or previous financial industry experience

Description:

Front Office FIX Analyst needed. Working in Toronto, Canada you will be part of a global team providing:

• Front office support to traders, account managers, sales team and business managers across all levels in the business

• Certification of new buy-side clients and maintaining a high level of service as we increase our client base across the world;

DAILY DUTIES -

Using Cameron FIX engine. Will be supporting clients and traders. Connecting to all FIX environments, maintaining FIX connections, Clinet Communication, Technical On-Boarding, Investigating FIX files, Setting up Clients using UNIX and Migrating Clients.

The Information Technology Group (ITG) is responsible for the management of company's technology infrastructure, the support and development of existing business systems, and the delivery and deployment of new systems, technologies and services. ITG provides each major business in the company with a dedicated team that works closely with that business to understand its particular technology needs.

The company's Capital Securities Account team within ITG provides technology support for the company's Capital Securities business in London, New York, Canada and across Asia. It also works closely with the company's Capital Securities Australia account team which supports the Australia and New Zealand business.
