Duties and Responsibilities:
Exchange and connectivity development. Primary responsibility is FIX Server development connecting to exchanges. Profit center position within the company. Develop connection to other exchanges based on accepted protocols. Develop all systems to support consistency of trading on exchanges. Making sure that exchange connecting systems follow library standardizations. All development is cross platform C++ Win32/Linux, custom built libraries are available to help accomplish this.
Long term projects include development the following major systems:
1) Continued Exchange Connectivity which includes a) order entry and b) quote consumption. Once connection to exchange is made systems are in place to a) submits orders on behalf of trading clients b) to read quotes from exchange and forward to trading clients. In addition, company is moving towards FX trading.
2) Trading Clients- Black box Algorithms that are highly proprietary.
3) Back Office Clearing & Position Management- Trading Records, Balancing, P&L.
