1) What is the structure and cost of FPL membership?

FPL is keen to gain broad industry participation and to this effect a range of membership options are available to meet the budgetary needs of different industry sectors. For full details on the different membership options please visit the FPL Membership Pricing Structure page.

2) Where are the benefits of FPL membership defined?

There are many benefits to joining FPL and these are detailed in the FPL Membership Benefits section.

3) What are some of the FPL member only aspects of the FPL website?

The following is a subset of FPL member-only features available on the FPL website:

• Access to the FPL database listing all persons that have chosen to register on the FPL website
• The Who uses FIX? page of the website lists all firms who have volunteered information about their use of the protocol. All FPL member firms are highlighted with a "FPL" icon and include a hyperlink to their firm's details and website address.
• The FIX Products and Vendors page details different firms' FIX offerings. Vendors who are FPL members are listed in a separate section at the top of the page to gain increased exposure and they also include an "FPL" icon and the page supports hyperlinks to vendor or product details. Vendors who are not FPL members are listed below member firms with only their firm name and product name displayed and without any hyperlinks.
• FPL publishes the FIX Protocol specifications in Microsoft Word (".doc" or "DOC") and Portable Document Format (".pdf" or "PDF") formats. Although, all registered user of the FPL website may access the PDF version, only members can access this information in Word format.
• All FPL member firms are listed on the FPL Members page, with their name hyperlinked to further details about the firm including their Who uses FIX? or FIX Products and Vendors profile.
• The FPL Member Resources section of the website provides FPL member only content including the monthly member's report, FPL's quarterly financial report, past copies of the monthly FPL e-newsletter and logos and templates that may be used to demonstrate a member firm's commitment to the organization. Full access to this page is granted to FPL Member firms and limited access to public areas is granted to non member firms.
