SunGard are pleased to present BRASS - Brokerage Real-time Application System Software. BRASS offers Market Makers, Principal, sales and agency traders the most comprehensive order,risk management and trading / position keeping functionality along with flexibility of Order Routing capabilities. The BRASS solution displays a truly consolidated view of the market, combining different exchange prices and order book views. The BRASS rich trading application automates the business flow required to trade equities within the US and European marketplace, as well as execute on the leading ECNs. Brass currently interfaces to the LSE for SETS, SEAQ, SEATS & AIM, to EASDAQ and Tradepoint, with connectivity already underway to other European Exchanges. Additionally BRASS connects to many other order routing mechanisms, such as those using FIX (e.g BNET, Bridge, Thomsons allocation and confirmation services such as OASYS and AUTEX. Execution on Crossing networks as well as direct connections to NASDAQ and NYSE are also available. In respect to GSTP, BRASS interfaces with Back-office systems to enable a single point of entry and eliminate the need for re-keying information, this can be done with the use of FIX or any other protocol.
