FORM is a tool that helps to analyze FIX communication records in an intuitive and efficient way. Using FORMs’ graphical interface, users can navigate through FIX session logs, searching for particular messages, filtering user-specified message subsets and viewing descriptions. Online reference of all FIX messages and fields are available while browsing as well. Those functionalities can be arranged into scripts for full automation and reporting to an external control mechanism. This approach facilitates incorporation of STP and provides a feedback loop to control processes. Such mechanism offers a better operational risk management. FORM was the first product of its kind to be available commercially.


The main features of FORM are:
• Has Java GUI tool and Browser based versions
• Performs message validity checks according to FIX protocol specification for 4.0 to 4.4 inclusive.
• Shows detailed description of problems and errors in messages
• Helps filter particular messages, or sets of messages, in large message storages using intuitive FIX Query Language (FIXQL Manual)
• Helps the integrator to determine the source of problems quickly


Available as a standalone application or as a Java applet for web-based access
