GDC Product Reference Working Group

Purpose of the working group is to review and enhance security definition and status message category to support for the following requirements:

-Distribution of product reference data for derivatives from market place to market place participant

-Formulaic definition of derivatives for distribution between market participants (such as markets, OMS vendors, trading systems, FCMs, sell side, buy side) to reduce bandwidth consumption requirements

-Support for submission of security status to support European MiFID initiative

-Support for OTC equity derivatives

The goal is to complete the gap analysis and recommendations in August 2007.
